Kerri Ficke is an artist based in Bozeman, Montana. Her work places particular emphasis on memorial and meaningful artwork, engaging with themes of memory, reflection, and emotional resonance. Deeply influenced by a lifelong appreciation for animals, her work often reflects a sense of empathy and connection to living beings.
Ever since childhood, Kerri has had a fascination with animals, art, and beautiful landscapes. She originally grew up on Long Island, New York, but her heart was always in the mountains—particularly the Adirondack Mountains. Eventually, her love of the outdoors, mountains, and wildlife brought her to the beautiful state of Montana. When she is not working as a veterinary technician, she is either creating artwork, hitting the trails with her two dogs, or nestled on the couch reading a book.
Through her art, she hopes to recreate cherished memories of beloved family members that will last a lifetime, as well as create portraits of the wildlife she has encountered and come to appreciate.
